Cook-Along: Berry Fruit Dip with Sliced Apples or Pears
Designed for both adults and youth (and their families), participants will cook a nutritious snack featuring seasonal apples and pears, berries, and yogurt to make a quick option between main meals.

With a nutrition educator as your guide, this class will be a fun and interactive way to focus on the essential cooking skills of using knives safely, different chopping and slicing techniques as well as balancing flavors. For this month, we'll cook the Food Hero recipe of Raspberry Fruit Dip and add seasonal sliced fruit as dippers. Your educator will provide resources for ingredient and allergen-friendly substitutions, as needed.

Pre-registration is required, and a shopping list will be provided after you register. You will need to source the recipe ingredients yourself prior to the class.

This one-hour cooking session will be conducted virtually and requires the use of either a smartphone or a computer with internet connection. Please come prepared to participate (and cook the recipe if you can), as we will all be learning from each other!
