InnovationX Workhop Series: Starting a Nonprofit Business
Want to create change in the world? Not sure how to start? In this 50-minute workshop, you will learn what it takes to make a difference.

This workshop will be facilitated by OSU alum Jarvez Hall, Executive Director of the East Metro Economic Alliance and founder of J.D. Hall and Associates, LLC., which provides strategic consulting to nonprofit organizations. Current clients include the Oregon High School International Relations League.

Jarvez also serves as the Business Advisory Services Coordinator for Ascent Funding, a nonprofit CDFI provider of capital for minority and women-owned businesses.

While completing his undergraduate degree in Business from OSU, Jarvez was a member of the 2001 Pac-10 Co-Championship football team which defeated Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl. He earned an MBA from Willamette University focusing on Business, Government, and Not-for-Profit Management and is currently working on a Doctorate of Education in Transformational Leadership at Concordia University.

ALL students are invited - come learn and be inspired!

This workshop will also support students who are developing an idea to work on in Launch Academy (BA 367/599) or to pitch in the Next Great Startup.

Can't make it in real time? We've got you covered. A recording of this event will be available to registered attendees.

The InnovationX Workshop Series is presented by InnovationX, OSU's Center of Excellence for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
